Fostering a pet is a great way to provide temporary care for an animal in need. It also helps us free up space in our shelter for more animals.

Animal Rescue fully up and running in 2019 !! Our main goal is to rescue and rehabilitate injured, homeless, and sick cats and kittens, and to help the community with the overpopulation of cats by TNRing (trap neuter/spay and release). We also provide financial assistance when possible to those struggling to get their pets medical care, and to help as many animals as possible find their perfect loving home. In February of 2023 we moved forward with incorporation, filing and receiving our 501c3. We are now a non profit organization.
Hello there! My name is Heidi McCarty and I have been rescuing all sorts of animals, primarily cats/kittens for most of my life. I am a mother of 3 with a fulltime job in healthcare. When I am not working, I am dedicating my life to my children and the animals in my care. I put all my time, money and effort into saving these precious lives. It has always been my mission to be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Although we will rescue any animal in need of help we mostly specialize in Cats. We rescue, Rehabilitate, Socialize, and rehome as many as we possible can. We run a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program as often as funds allow. This program spays/neuters feral cats so that they can not reproduce, further adding to the already huge homeless population. These cats must be returned to the area in which they were taken, as they are established in that area and know where to find food, water and shelter. If you have any further questions about TNR and how it works, please feel free to reach out!
