We encourage families to adopt 2 as they do better when they have someone to play with. But we are grateful when any kitten or cat gets a home.

Declawing is inhumane
Not only is it inhumane but it can cause health and behavioral issues
Metal or Ceramic is better
They are so much easier to clean and are overall better for your furry friends!
Free Cats are not Free
This is actually cheap as prices have skyrocketed in the past year or so. Rescues and Shelters are not getting big discounts so that adoption fee you complain about isn't covering much but is saving you big.
Spay and Neuter
We don't do this because we enjoy it we do it because it needs to be done. Something a simple as getting you cat fixed can make a difference.
Essential oils can be poisonous
Many people use essential oils or diffuse them in their home. (This also applies to store-bought plug-ins!) Please be aware that SOME essential oils are TOXIC to cats because cats lack a necessary enzyme (cytochrome P450) to metabolize the phenols found in essential oils, resulting in poisoning and even death.
If you're using essential oils in your home, please do some research and/or ask your veterinarian if your oils are safe for your pets. (Dogs can be affected, too!) Please take to time to ensure you're not harming your precious pet.
Easter lilies are Dangerous
Essential oils can be poisonous
Tis the season to decorate for spring. Be careful not to create a hazard for your felines by bringing in these harmful plants. Especially during the Easter season, lilies are so pretty and smell so good. However, you might unintentionally poison your kitty if he or she gets to them. The danger is real!
