Pickles is a sweet and friendly boy. Hes very loving and sweet but still learning to trust people as he has spent almost all of his life thus far surviving on the streets. He came from a property where the cats were being poisoned. His story is pretty remarkable.

Zena (Xena) is a sweet girl with silky black fur. She was part of the Qudoba colony until she sustained a serious rear leg injury. Zena had a pin placed in her femur and was put on kennel rest. She quickly healed and had her pin removed. Although we were able to save her leg, her foot has not regained function. Our vet said she uses it a bit like a crutch and she is not in any pain. She is a very affectionate girl who will gently bat your hand if you stop petting her. She is still a bit confused when it comes to cat toys but will happily purr in your lap. Her only requirement is that she has a low-sided litterpan to accommodate her weak foot.

Heath

Heath is known as "the sentient blanket" at his foster's house. Poor Heath has been treated poorly and was dumped at a local bar to fend for himself. He is starting to come around and is very affectionate to his foster caregivers but will also retreat under his blanket and observe his playmates from the safety of his kennel. He isn't quite sure about everyone else yet and he seems to immediately search out a hiding spot when turned loose in the catio. It’s suspected that he was severely abused the way he reacts to you first reaching for him, and surrounding the circumstances in which he was found. To keep his stress to a minimum, we cater to his current needs. Poor Heath wants a quiet, easy life without extra stressors as he has some hairloss from stress grooming. Big Yeti

Big Yeti is an amazing big ol tom cat! Found on the streets where he fell into someones basement and got trapped for 4 days, to being an indoor kitty living the life! Big Yeti loves being petted but isnt yet too fond of being picked up. Loves other cats so far but hasnt been tested with kids or dogs. Recommend older kids as he has bitten once out of fear when being handled near his back end. He hasnt done it since. Big Yeti is positive for FIV but can still live with other cats as it is only transferred through deep bite wounds. He still looks rough but he just recently came into rescue so in a few weeks his scratches and dirtiness will be gone! he is neutered, negative for FELV and started on vaccines and microchipped!

Taffy is very sweet and friendly once she gets to know you and can trust you. She is shy at first and may hide or day or two but once she knows your safe she is the sweetest little girl. Taffy is fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

Finch was brought into the rescue as a TNR. When he was to be released, he wouldnt come out of the carrier. He was sick but too wild to handle and treat. After a little TLC, he started to shine. Finch is very friendly but can be untrusting of new people. Hes never been tested with other cats or dogs or kids yet. He is neutered and started on vaccines. Finch has some burn marks on his fur where it appeared he tried to get up into an engine to stay warn. Those marks will grow out eventually.

Cindy Lou is a quiet little girl that tends to keep to herself. She can sometimes be seen on her favorite spot, the shelf in the catio, watching TV. Like her twin brother, Arctic, she is still learning to trust people more and will allow you to pet her, but can become overwhelmed easily and want some space. We are looking for a quiet/calm home for this special little girl if possible, or someone who can be patient and give her the time she needs too know your safe. Cindy Lou is pretty bonded with her brother Arctic but is not required to be adopted with him.

Arctic is a shy but friendly boy that came into foster care with his sister Cindy Lou & his torbie sister Sugar. Arctic spends much of his time watching others play as he tends to hang back peeking out from his safe spot. Since being in rescue he has really came out of his shell. He has very playful side once he knows your safe. He's pretty close with his sister Cindy Lou but does not have to be adopted with her. He has been in rescue a year now.
Arctic is vaccinated, FELV/FIV negative, microchipped and neutered.

Tyra is a sweet little tuxedo girl who is always purring. She loves to play and doesn't allow her handicap to slow her down. She loves toys and wrestling with her playmates but will quickly, and just as happily, melt into your arms. Little Tyra had a rough start, she was hiding inside someone's wheel well at the Hampton Inn. Tyra would do best with someone who is well-educated in her disability (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) & preferably a home with no stairs. If there are stairs, she will need her litterbox and everything on the first floor. Please research CH before adopting.

Liams story is sort of sad. He has lived as an only cat with the same owner for 12 years until his owner passed away. Liam is friendly and likes to be held and likes to play but hes a senior so he doesnt have kitten energy. He prefers to bask in the sun and lounge around, living out his golden years. Because hes lived in a calm and quiet household for 12 years with no other animals, he prefers not to be around them. He isnt fond of young high energy children either. Liam is siamese/snow shoe mix. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and negative for FIV/FELV. He has a small cyst on his tail thats been there for years. The vet says its fine and doesnt bother him. He also has cauliflower ear.

Turkey is very sweet but very scared and shy. He needs a quiet calm home where its not chaotic. Once he trusts you, he is very sweet and loving.
