At Heidi’s Furry Friends Rescue, the health and well-being of our animals is a top priority. Unless otherwise stated, all animals are fully vetted prior to adoption.
Kittens & Cats
All kittens and cats in our rescue at the time of adoption are:

Any exceptions will be clearly noted in the individual animal’s adoption listing.

Meet Trinket!
Trinket is a sweet little brown tabby girl whose life began in a scrapyard, but she’s ready for a much brighter future. 
She came to us after surviving a rough start, including a bad upper respiratory infection that left a permanent scar on her left eye. This scar does not affect her vision or slow her down one bit — it simply tells the story of everything she’s overcome. 
Trinket can be a bit timid at first, but once she realizes you’re safe, she blossoms into a gentle, affectionate girl who wants nothing more than love and stability.

She came from a colony where several cats were sick, and one was even found with a plastic cup stuck around its neck — tough beginnings, but BackPack has come a long way.
This girl just needs a little time to come out of her shell. She may not shine during meet-and-greets, but she’s the kind of kitty who truly blossoms once she’s home and feels safe. If you’re patient, her love is unconditional.

Meet Judy!
Judy’s journey hasn’t been easy — but she’s come so far and is now ready for a forever home.
Judy came to us on August 31st, 2025, after being found on the back roads of Muncy in the dark by two kind Good Samaritans. She was covered in fly eggs, dehydrated, weak, and sick. With immediate medical care, wound treatment, bottle feeding, and lots of love, Judy grew into the healthy, happy girl she is today.

Personality
Judy is sweet, loving, and sassy with a big personality to match. Because she never had a mama kitty to teach her proper play, she can play rougher than the average kitten. She absolutely loves other cats and does well with dogs and kids, but she would be best suited for older children who understand that her playful bites and scratches can be a bit more intense while she continues learning boundaries.

I was so weak that I wouldn’t eat on my own for weeks — my rescue mom had to tube feed me for almost a month before I had the strength and appetite to eat by myself. I arrived with a terrible URI, severe dehydration, and scary levels of emaciation. But thanks to round-the-clock TLC, I pulled through — and now I’m ready to find my forever home! ADOPT BIRDIE
Beautiful Birdie was tamed as a kitten, and then dumped outside at a few months old.
Good Samaritans fed her, but didn't have the resources to get her spayed, and Birdie soon became a mother AND grandmother.
When a feeding ban was placed in her community, it was Birdie's sweet song and disposition that helped us to locate her family and get them into a much better situation.
Now that Birdie is spayed, and her days of raising kittens are over, she is ready for her forever home!
She has an adorably short little face and HUGE round eyes that make her just irresistably cute.
She is laid back, and likes to spend most of her day napping, but will hop up and play from time to time. She isn't the biggest fan of other adult cats, and generally avoids them, but would love to be adopted with her look-alike daughter, Ginnie.
